Coal Vibrating Feeder: Reliable Coal Handling Solutions

Coal Vibrating Feeder

Coal vibrating feeders are used to convey bulk materials from hoppers, silos, crushers, etc. in a wide range of applications including chemical, coal, foundry, quarrying and steel industries. The coal vibrating feeders produced by our company range in capacity from 100 tons/hour to 2500 tons/hour.
  • Description

Coal vibratory feeder is mainly composed of a pair of vibration motors with the same performance parameters as the excitation source. When the two vibration motors rotate in opposite directions at the same angular velocity, the inertial force generated by the eccentric mass is repeatedly superimposed in a specific phase. Or offset. Thereby, a huge synthetic exciting vibration force is generated, which makes the machine body vibrate forcibly on the support spring, and with this vibration as the driving force, the material is brought to slide and throw on the trough, so that the material is continuously moved forward to achieve the feeding purpose. When the material passes through the screen bar on the tank body, the smaller material can fall through the gap of the screen bar without going through the next crushing process, which has the effect of screening.

In the production process, the vibrating feeder can feed block and granular materials from the storage bin to the receiving device uniformly, regularly and continuously. In the sand and gravel production line, it can feed the crushing machinery continuously and evenly. It is widely used in crushing and screening combined equipment in metallurgy, coal mine, mineral processing, building materials, chemical industry, abrasives and other industries.

Coal Vibrating Feeder Features

Robust Construction: Coal vibrating feeders are built with heavy-duty materials such as steel to withstand the abrasive nature of coal and the harsh operating conditions in coal mining and processing plants.

Adjustability: These feeders often feature adjustable settings for vibration intensity, frequency, and amplitude to control the flow rate and ensure consistent feeding of coal.

High Capacity: They are designed to handle high-capacity loads of coal, providing a reliable and continuous supply to the downstream processing equipment.

Low Maintenance: With relatively few moving parts, coal vibrating feeders require minimal maintenance and are known for their reliability and durability.

Protection Measures: Some coal vibrating feeders incorporate protective measures such as guards, covers, and sealing mechanisms to prevent damage from dust, moisture, and other environmental factors.

Coal Vibrating Feeder Working Principle

Material Loading: Coal or other bulk material is loaded into a storage hopper or bin located above the vibrating feeder.

Vibration Generation: The coal vibrating feeder utilizes vibrating motors or electromagnets to generate controlled vibrations. These vibrations cause the coal to move along the feeder in a controlled and consistent manner.

Material Conveyance: As the coal moves along the feeder, it is distributed evenly and discharged onto a conveyor belt or directly into the processing equipment.

Adjustment: The vibration intensity, frequency, and amplitude of the coal vibrating feeder can be adjusted to control the flow rate and ensure the proper feeding of coal.

Continuous Operation: The coal vibrating feeder operates continuously, providing a steady supply of coal to the downstream processing equipment as needed.

Coal Vibrating Feeder Applications

Coal Mining: Coal vibrating feeders are commonly used in coal mines for feeding coal from storage hoppers or bins to crushers, screens, or conveyors for transportation and processing.

Coal Handling Plants: They are also utilized in coal handling plants for feeding coal to bunkers, stockpiles, or boilers for combustion or storage.

Power Plants: Coal vibrating feeders find applications in coal-fired power plants for feeding coal to pulverizers, boilers, or combustion chambers for energy generation.

Processing Plants: In coal processing plants, vibrating feeders are used to feed coal to washing, crushing, screening, or sorting equipment for processing into various coal products.

Rail and Port Facilities: They may be used in rail and port facilities for loading coal onto trains, ships, or barges for transportation to end users or storage facilities.
