VU Series Vibrating Screen Exciter

The VU series vibrating screen exciters are specialized components used in vibrating screens to generate the necessary vibratory motion for efficient screening of materials. These exciters are designed to provide reliable performance, durability, and versatility in various industrial applications.
  • Description

The VU series vibrating screen exciters are essential components used in vibrating screens for material screening, separation, sizing, and dewatering applications in various industries. Their robust construction, high efficiency, and adjustable settings make them suitable for a wide range of industrial vibrating screen applications.

Thin oil vibration exciter is an indispensable core part of large-scale vibrating screen. Compared with vibration exciters of the same specification, it has a higher operating rate, and has the advantages of simple operation, small maintenance, and good lubrication and sealing performance. It is an ideal substitute for the vibration source of the existing large and medium-sized vibrating screen. Compared with dry oil vibration exciters, the maintenance rate is lower, the excitation force is stronger, and the gear oil replacement time is as long as March to June.

The vibration exciter uses the reverse self-synchronization principle to make the vibrating machine produce linear motion. The motor does not participate in vibration, and is reliably connected to the excitation through a universal coupling. It is composed of a casing, a shaft, a bearing, an eccentric block and other parts.

VU Series Vibrating Screen Exciter Features

Robust Construction: VU series vibrating screen exciters are built with durable materials and heavy-duty components to withstand the demanding conditions of industrial environments.

High Efficiency: These exciters are engineered for optimal energy efficiency, providing reliable performance while minimizing power consumption.

Adjustable Settings: VU Series exciters often come with adjustable settings for vibration intensity, frequency, and amplitude, allowing operators to customize the vibrations based on specific application requirements.

Low Maintenance: With sealed construction and few moving parts, VU series vibrating screen exciters require minimal maintenance, resulting in reduced downtime and lower operating costs.

Versatility: They are suitable for a wide range of vibrating screen applications across industries such as mining, aggregates, construction, recycling, and more.

VU Series Vibrating Screen Exciter Working Principles

Electric Excitation: series vibrating screen exciters operate based on electromagnetic excitation principles. When an electric current flows through the exciter coils, it generates a magnetic field that interacts with the armature, causing it to move back and forth.

Eccentric Weight: Each exciter in the VU Series is equipped with an eccentric weight mounted on the armature. As the armature moves back and forth, the eccentric weight generates centrifugal force, leading to vibration.

Vibration Generation: The vibration produced by the eccentric weight is transmitted to the vibrating screen deck, causing it to vibrate. This vibration facilitates the movement and separation of bulk materials on the screen surface.

Control: VU Series exciters can be controlled manually or through automated systems such as variable frequency drives (VFDs) or programmable logic controllers (PLCs), offering precise control over vibration characteristics.

VU Series Vibrating Screen Exciter Applications

Material Screening: VU series vibrating screen exciters are commonly used in vibrating screens for screening and separating bulk materials such as aggregates, ores, minerals, sand, gravel, and recyclable materials.

Particle Sizing: They find applications in particle sizing equipment such as scalping screens, dewatering screens, and trommel screens for classifying particles based on size, shape, or density.

Dewatering: VU series exciters are utilized in dewatering screens and equipment to remove excess moisture from materials such as slurry, pulp, and wet aggregates.

Trash Removal: They are used in vibrating screens equipped with trash removal decks or finger screens to remove oversized or unwanted materials from the feed stream.

Scalping and Pre-screening: VU series vibrating screen exciters are employed in scalping screens and pre-screening equipment to remove fines, undersized particles, and contaminants before the primary screening process.
